Antiviral pills by Pfizer and Merck which have been procured by the Government, will arrive by the end of this month, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference yesterday in response to a media query on behalf of the public in anticipation of the arrival of the COVID-19 treatment pills Pfizer’s Paxlovid and Merck’s Molnupiravir.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham revealed that the consignment is worth 40,000 courses of treatments.
“One course of treatment is spread over five days, taken twice a day,” said the minister.
