The Japan Brunei Friendship Association is inviting four Bruneian students to Japan for its annual study tour.
The five-day study tour is expected to run from December 11 to 16.
The purpose of the study tour is to visit a liquefied natural gas receiving terminal and learn how the imported gas from the Sultanate is being utilised in Japan.
Participants will also experience the Japanese culture by participating in a cultural exchange programme at a Japanese university.
Interested students can apply by submitting an application form and a letter of recommendation from their college or university via e-mail to office@jbfa.or.jp by August 31.
The application form can be obtained from the association’s website at www.jbfa.or.jp.
Applicants must be a Brunei national and interested in Japanese culture to be eligible for the study tour.
They must also be in college or university, possess Japanese language ability (at least beginner’s level of JLPT 5 or equivalent), in good health and have received third doses of the vaccine. Priority will be given to those with no previous experience in Japan.
