Category 4 cases in the country dropped to one on Friday, said the Ministry of Health (MoH).

 

Category 4 cases require respiratory assistance and close monitoring. Meanwhile, the MoH said no cases are in Category 5, requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.

 

No COVID-19 fatalities were reported on Friday.

 

Some 685 cases were declared recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries at 208,676.

 

The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are 80.7 per cent, while 54 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.

 

The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine is 75.4 per cent, while 7.5 per cent of the populace received the fourth dose.
