Brunei on Tuesday reported two fatalities of COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Four cases are in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring, while there are no COVID-19 cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.
The latest COVID-19 situation in the Sultanate was shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Meanwhile, 663 cases were declared recovered on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 211,184.
The inoculation rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine is 81.2 per cent, while 54.5 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
The coverage rate of the population with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine remained at 75.7 per cent, while 7.9 per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose.
