Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours on Wednesday.
There are two cases in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring while there are no patients in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.
These details were shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily report.
Some 423 cases were declared recovered on Wednesday bringing the total number of recoveries to 215,508.
The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are 82 per cent, while 55.4 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine is at 76.3 per cent while 8.7 per cent of the populace received the fourth dose.
