Haji Md Zain bin Haji Abdul Ghafar won a BND300,000 house from the BIBD Impian campaign lucky draw held at the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) building in Bandar Seri Begawan on Friday.

The new three-bedroom and four-bathroom modern detached house comes with a living room and a family room, and sits on a 0.1-acre plot of land in Kampong Kilanas.

In an interview, the 72-year-old said, “I was really surprised and happy to have won the grand prize. The house will be shared with one of my children who is staying with me.”

The retired government servant was eligible to the draw after using his credit card to purchase items.

Five others won BND4,000 each as the campaign’s quarterly winners.

Present to hand over the prizes to the winners was Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, in his capacity as Chairman of BIBD and its Group of Companies.

The BIBD Impian campaign, launched in January 2021, offered various rewards for BIBD customers for their support and loyalty, while also giving the chance for everyone to win a modern space to call a home.
