The Sultanate recorded two COVID-19 cases in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and close monitoring; and none in Category 5 requiring treatment in the intensive care unit on Sunday.
The country also continued its streak of zero COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
These details were shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Some 349 cases were declared recovered on Sunday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 217,196.
Meanwhile, 82.6 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine while 56.1 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered three shots.
The coverage rate of the Brunei population with at least three shots of the vaccine is 76.6 per cent while nine per cent of the populace have been administered with the fourth dose.
