An Ilal Hijrah walkathon to mark the new Islamic year of 1444 Hijrah was held on Sunday outside the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien mosque in the capital.
Acting Assistant Director of Mosque Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Ali was the guest of honour.
Prior to the walkathon, participants performed mass Subuh prayer and listened to a religious talk by Dr Kamaru Salam bin Yusof.
