Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday recorded another day of having zero COVID-19 cases in Category 5, however, one new case has been added to Category 4, bringing the total to four patients in need of respiratory assistance and close observation.

 

The Ministry of Health announced this in its daily report, adding that no COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.

 

Meanwhile, 324 cases recovered on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 217,894.

 

The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is 82.6 per cent, while 56.2 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose. The coverage rate of the Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine remains at 76.7 per cent, while nine per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose.
