Some 270 COVID-19 cases recovered on Thursday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 218,472. The Sultanate also continued its streak of zero COVID-19 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
The latest updates on the Covid-19 situation in Brunei Darussalam was shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Meanwhile, there is one case in Category 5 requiring treatment in the intensive care unit and four cases in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring.
The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are 82.8 per cent, while 56.5 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
The coverage rate of the population with three shots of the vaccine remained at 76.8 per cent, while 9.2 per cent have received the fourth dose.
