Some 130 COVID-19 cases were declared recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 220,276.

 

No COVID-related deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours.

 

These details were disclosed by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.

 

The Sultanate currently has one COVID-19 case in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit, while two cases in Category 4 require respiratory assistance and are under close monitoring.

 

Meanwhile, 83.6 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received at least two vaccine doses while 58.6 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.

 

The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine remained at 77.5 per cent, while 9.7 per cent of the populace received the fourth shot.
