Brunei Darussalam recorded a COVID-19 fatality on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health (MoH) shared in its daily report.
One Category 5 case is being treated at the intensive care unit, while one Category 4 case is receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation.
The inoculation rate of children aged five to 11 nationwide with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine stands at 84.1 per cent, while adolescents aged 12 to 17 who have been administered the third dose of the vaccine is at 60 per cent.
A total of 236 cases recovered on Wednesday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 221,192.
