Imagine Sdn Bhd’s (imagine) first ‘Game Fest’, featuring attractive offers in collaboration with Netcom Sdn Bhd and aiming to cater to Brunei’s growing gaming community, kicked off at the ground floor of the Times Square Shopping Centre on Friday.

Officiating the event was imagine’s Director Allen On alongside Netcom’s Chief Executive Officer Vincent Goh.

Patrons to the three-day festival will be given the opportunity to take part in several activities, including experiencing the latest gaming consoles and laptops with popular brands such as Alienware, Dell, Sony, and Nintendo present.

The event will also feature a blood donation drive, while visitors will be able to support several local micro, small, and medium enterprises.

The launch of the Game Fest coincides with the beginning of imagine’s lucky draw campaign that will run until November 15.

New imagine customers signing up and switching to any of imagine’s broadband, mobile and bundle plans would be able to enjoy discounts of up to BND500 off any of the imagine Game Fest devices until November 15.

Additionally, customers, including existing subscribers, who sign up during the imagine Game Fest can stand a chance to receive freebies including merchandise, vouchers, and a chance to participate in a weekly lucky draw with a final grand draw at the end of the year with a BND5,000 prize for two winners.

The event also aims to showcase the capabilities of Brunei’s recently upgraded telecommunications network offering speeds up to 50Mbps whether for home, at work or on the move.

With a variety of plans suited for different-sized households, imagine’s broadband data plans start from as low as BND29 per month for 300GB of data and 50 Mbps speed, while imagine’s mobile plans start at BND18 per month for 5GB of data with better value when bundled together.

The imagine Game Fest is held from 10am to 8pm today and tomorrow.
