Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday continued to maintain zero COVID-19 cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit, while there are four cases in Category 4, requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring.
The country also recorded no COVID-19 fatalities in the last 24 hours. The latest COVID-19 situation in the Sultanate was shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
The overall population that has received the fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose has reached 10.3 per cent, while the coverage rate of the population with the first booster shot remained at 78.3 per cent.
Meanwhile, the inoculation rate for children aged five to 11 with two COVID-19 vaccine doses is 84.8 per cent, while 61.3 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third shot.
A total of 229 cases fully recovered on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 223,572.
