The Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 262 COVID-19 cases recovered on Friday, raising the total number of recoveries since the start of the pandemic to 225,682.
The ministry said one case is in Category 4 and needs respiratory assistance and close monitoring. No case was reported to be in Category 5. No COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said 10.5 per cent of the population have received the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The percentage of the population with three doses of the vaccine remains at 78.5 per cent.
Meanwhile, 85.3 per cent of children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine is 85.3 per cent, while 61.5 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
