The results of the closed tender for vehicle registration number (VRN) BBC 100 – BBC 3000 series will be announced through the official JPD website at www.jpd.gov.bn and www.nomborku.gov.bn today, the Land Transport Department (JPD) stated.
All tenderers participating in the VRN closed tender will receive the results of their bid through their email as registered with the department.
Successful tenderers are required to comply with the terms and conditions as follows:
i. Successful tenderers are required to pay the full amount at tendered and register the VRN under the tenderer’s name no later than one month from the date the issuance of the Award Letter.
Payment may be made via online through debit or credit cards, or through any JPD branch.
If the tenderer fails to make the full payment, the bid shall be revoked.
ii. Application for the extension of vehicle’s registration period may be submitted after full payment of the VRN has been made within one month from the date of Award Letter.
The holding fee is BND60 for three years.
Holding fee may be made via online or through JPD Headquarters in Gadong or JPD branch in Belait District.
After three years, if the applicant has not registered the VRN but intends to keep it, holding of BND60 shall be made to extend the period for a further three years.
iii. The transfer of VRN is only allowed after 12 months from the date of Award Letter and is subject to a service fee of BND5.
iv. Tenderers who fail to pay the full amount as tendered for the VRN will be blacklisted from participating in the VRN closed tender for a period of one year and the VRN shall be retendered.
