Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday recorded an increase in the number of COVID-19 recoveries, with the 268 cases bringing the national tally of recovered cases to 226,670.
One Category 4 case is receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced in its daily report.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine remains at 10.5 per cent, while the coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of vaccine stands at 78.5 per cent.
Meanwhile, the inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine are 85.5 per cent, while 61.5 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
