Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd celebrated its sixth year anniversary with a ‘Glitz and Glam’ themed gala dinner at the Grand Cesar Hall, Mulia Hotel in Kampong Anggerek Desa.
With over 350 participants, many of its business associates, sales organisations and corporate employees joined to celebrate.
Charge D’Affaires at the Embassy of Korea in Brunei Darussalam Cho Hye-ran was the guest of honour.
Cuckoo International (M) Sdn Bhd Marketing Director Queenie Goh and Khairunnisa binti Haji Ash’ari were also present.
The event opened with a showcase of Cuckoo Corporate video highlighting Cuckoo’s journey in 2016 focussing on improving the quality of living through the Beyond Standards initiative.
Until recently, the focus shifted to expanding and diversifying the product portfolios to advance this mission further towards being a Healthy Home Creator in Brunei.
The event continued with an opening speech by Cuckoo Brunei Managing Director Wong Kim Guan.
He said after six years in Brunei, Cuckoo is responsible for the healthy living of over 36,000 households and going into the seventh year, they will bring more products and plans along with top level after-sales service that will meet customers’ satisfaction.
“With the combined efforts of everyone in Cuckoo Brunei, we achieved 97 per cent customer satisfaction, accomplished by a workforce that is 95 per cent locals. We will continue to empower employees to grow and be the best version of themselves,” he said.
Over 15 awards were handed out in recognition of the managerial promotions and outstanding performances for the year by the Cuckoo sales team.
Cuckoo Brunei also launched three new products to join the growing Cuckoo product family.
The first product launched was a new variant of three-temperature Cuckoo XCEL Water Purifier available in Jet Black, followed by the launch of Cuckoo Titan and Cuckoo Warrior Top, expanding Cuckoo line of water purifiers.
Cuckoo Brunei also officiated a joint collaboration with local electronics distribution company Advansse. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
