The Brunei men’s softball team continued its undefeated streak on Friday at the 6th Women’s & 8th Men’s East Asia Softball Masters 2022 in Singapore.
The team representing the Sultanate took a 2-2 tie break draw against team Malaysia before recovering with a crucial win against Singapore 6-2.
Meanwhile the Brunei women’s softball team suffered a heartbreak loss by a single point against team Thailand, with the score of 4-5.
In the match up with Team Singapore, the Brunei women’s team lost 3-4.
Maintaining their perfect record, the Brunei men’s team sit on top of the table with 11 points from three wins and one draw, followed closely by team Indonesia who have nine points from three wins. Malaysia and Singapore each have six points.
In the womens team table, the Brunei women’s team collected six points from one win and three losses.
Singapore sit at the top of the women’s teams table with 12 points from four wins.
