The Sultanate on Thursday recorded 521 COVID-19 recoveries, bringing the national tally to 241,267.
According to the Ministry of Health in its daily report, one category 4 case is receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine is 11 per cent, while the coverage rate of population with three shots of the vaccine remained at 78.7 per cent.
Meanwhile, the inoculation rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine is 86.4 per cent, while 61.8 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
