Brunei Darussalam recorded two COVID-19 fatalities in the last 24 hours.

 

Four COVID-19 cases are currently placed under Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring.

 

There are no cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit, said the Ministry of Health in its daily report.

 

A total of 622 COVID-19 cases have recovered bringing the accumulated number of recoveries to 244,848.

 

The overall population that received the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine is at 11.1 per cent, while the coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots remained at 78.8 per cent.

 

Meanwhile, the inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are 86.5 per cent, while 61.9 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
