Six COVID-19 cases are in Category 4, receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation, the Ministry of Health announced in its daily report on Friday.
Meanwhile, 592 recoveries were recorded, bringing the national tally to 245,440.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is at 11.1 per cent, while the coverage rate of the populace with three shots of COVID-19 vaccine remained at 78.8 per cent.
Meanwhile, the inoculation rate of children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine is at 86.5 per cent, while 61.9 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
