A restaurant was ordered closed by the Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) during its first operation of the year with other agencies recently.
The eatery was found operating in three units renovated without prior application of Occupation Permit (OP).
Section 16(1)(a) under Building Control Order 2014 stated that no building or parts that underwent renovations should be occupied without OP issued by the ABCi.
