400 new COVID-19 cases on Monday bringing the total number of cases to 136,374

Brunei Darussalam recorded 400 new COVID-19 cases on Monday – 366 from antigen rapid test (ART) results uploaded to the BruHealth app and 34 from 603 RT-PCR laboratory test performed in the past 24 hours – bringing the total number of cases to 136,374, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during the daily press conference on Monday.

 

The number of active cases stand at 3,440 cases, with 59 receiving treatment in hospitals and 3,381 undergoing self-isolation.

 

There was no COVID-19 fatality reported in the last 24 hours and only one case is categorised in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.

 

Some 737 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 132,721.

 

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin was also present.
