Babu-Nya is back this Ramadhan, and the family is growing. For two seasons, Nora, the matriarch, had tried to keep her family of five together despite Melati, her husband’s ex-wife constant interruptions.
‘Soto Babu-Nya’ seems to be on the upswing now that her narrative continues. Babu-Nya has been labeled as the fasting month’s ‘go-to’ sitcoms for many.
According to the Bulletin, “the series’ quick wit, sense of humour, and the chemistry between its cast members have captivated the hearts of fans young and old alike”.
