The establishment of the steering committee for the 77th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is to monitor and ensure that plans and programmes proposed will be smooth-sailing before being brought to the national committee.
This was said by Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman chairing the first meeting of the National Committee for His Majesty’s 77th birthday celebration at the Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday.
