A private security personnel was jailed eight months by the Magistrate’s Court on Monday after he pleaded guilty to stealing from his station at the back office of a bank branch.
Mohammad Noor Azuan bin Sari Kula, 22, revealed that he stole computer devices because he wanted to study them in the interest of furthering his studies.
Prosecutor Ahmad Firdaus bin Mohammad also revealed that the defendant was stationed at the bank’s branch in Muara, and on April 8, part of his duty was to watch over the renovation works carried out at the time.
