Brunei Darussalam won their first silver medal in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) through the women’s artistic team event at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The women’s pencak silat team comprising Nur Wasiqah Aziemah binti Rosihan, Norleyermah binti Haji Raya and Anisah Najihah binti Abdullah moved to the final after knocking out Philippines Franchette Anne Tolentino Elman, Jessapitulah Deka Crus and Shara Julia Jizmundo in the semi-final.
The Brunei team accumulated 9.945 points to Philippines’ 9.910 points to move into gold medal contention against Singapore.
