The Intermediate Court on Monday handed a three years’ jail time and four strokes of a cane to an Indonesian man for attempting to steal electrical cables and causing disruption to key services.
Sutrimo Haryono, 44, pleaded guilty to the charges.
Judge Radin Safiee bin Radin Mas Basiuni gave the minimum sentence after seeing no aggravating factors.
