Typhoon Mawar, currently over the western Pacific Ocean is expected to influence the local weather, causing unsettled conditions until Saturday, according to the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD).
The typhoon is 3,600 kilometres from Brunei Darussalam as of on Monday.
BDMD said the typhoon was observed at 9.4°N 147.6°E and is forecasted to move northwestwards this week.
