The Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES) announced fines for six business premises for violating the Price Control Act between April and the middle of May.
The violations were discovered during routine checks, said the department.
Two premises were fined for selling price controlled goods above the price ceiling, three premises were compounded for not displaying price tags for goods or had price tags inconsistent with the prices of goods.
