The Sultanate will determine the first day of Zulhijjah, and Hari Raya Aidiladha, on June 18 corresponding to 29th of Zulkaedah, 1444 Hijrah.
Syar’ie judges and officers from Syariah Court at the State Judiciary Department and the Survey Department will be stationed to sight the new moon from different vantage points across the country including DST Tower, Tanjung Batu Recreational Park and Bukit Agok in Brunei-Muara District, Bukit Ambog in Tutong District and Bukit Lumut in Belait District.
