Swift action taken by firefighters on Wednesday morning prevented a huge house fire from spreading in Kampong Ayer.
A distress call was received around 9.17am about a house fire at Kampong Bendahara Lama in Kampong Ayer, according to the Fire and Rescue Department.
Eighteen firefighters and three firefighting boat from Pelancaran Fire Station and Sungai Kebun Fire Station were dispatched, led by Commanding Officer of Operation ‘D’ Branch SSFR Amirul Hadi bin Haji Junaidi.
