A 37-year-old local was ordered by the Magistrate’s Court on Thursday to settle a BND17,000 fine after pleading guilty to possessing smuggled cigarettes.
Mohamad Yusri bin Suhaili would have to serve 13 months’ jail in default of payment of the fine.
