Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) recognises the importance of carbon management to counter the climate change implications of the world’s increasing energy use. “We remain steadfast in exploring various measures to reduce carbon emissions and their impact on the environment,” said BGC Managing Director Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew.
He said this at the company’s 25th anniversary celebration at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei Tuesday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah and Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha attended as guests of honour.
