At least 15 schools nationwide will join a year-long programme with interactive sessions and engaging activities focusing on zero waste education and financial literacy, said Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) in a press statement on Thursday.
The series of workshop aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills to adopt sustainable practices and make informed financial decisions is a concerted efforts by BIBD, Shell Exploration and Production Brunei (SEPB) and Big BWN Project.
The workshop series, titled ‘Waste Not, Save More: Financial Literacy and Zero Waste Education Workshop’, will be conducted with the Science Technology Environment Partnership (STEP) Centre under its Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) outreach programme.
