Athletes representing the country in the 7th Commonwealth Youth Games are urged to approach the event with utmost seriousness and not regard their participation as merely a chance to compete.
This was said by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, the President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BDNOC), delivered by BDNOC Deputy President Haji Mohd Zamri bin Dato Paduka Haji Hamdani during the flag handover ceremony at Digadong Hall of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) on Monday.
The Brunei contingent comprises eight members – four athletes and four officials, including the chef de mission, chief secretary, safeguarding lead officer, and coach.
