The Skitto Clean cleaning brush has been found to be made with pig bristles, said the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ (MoRA) Halal Food Control Division at the Syariah Affairs Department announced.
The discovery of the non-halal item was made following public complaints, and the Ministry of Health’s Department of Scientific Service confirmed the content.
The Syariah Affairs Department ordered the removal of the product, as well as other items under the brand, from store shelves to prevent Muslims from purchasing non-halal items.
