Following the closure of the multi-storey car park building that houses the Bandar Seri Begawan Bus Terminal in the heart of the capital, new bus stops will begin operating in Jalan Kianggeh and Jalan McArthur from May 9.
The location of the new bus stops were announced by the Land Transport Department (JPD) under the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) in a press statement on Wednesday.
The operating hours for public buses will be from 6am to 8pm daily. The new bus stops are only for pick-up and drop-off services.
The JPD reminded the public to prioritise safety while at the bus stops and use pedestrian crossings while crossing the road.
They are urged to be patient while waiting for the bus, be mindful when getting on or off the bus as well as give priority to passengers in need, and maintain cleanliness.
