Four local men aged 17 to 53 were detained for their alleged involvement in gambling activities during a raid at the Gadong Wet Market on Monday.
According to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), the raid was conducted at the wet market’s stall number 67 based on public tip-off.
From surveillance, it was found that the suspects were allegedly involved in Katam-Katam gambling game. The game was not played in the traditional way which requires a gambling mat, dice and so on. Instead, it was played using a mobile app called ‘Real Fish Prawn Crab’.
