Unsettled weather condition is expected in the coming days due to the combination of a low-pressure system over South China Sea with the local wind effect leading to more moist atmospheric condition, enhancing the development of rain clouds, the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD) said in a statement on Tuesday.
Active weather condition is forecasted starting today until Sunday with occasional heavy thundershowers affecting a number of areas of the country. Wind gust may reach up to 45 kilometres per hour during or near heavy thundershowers.
Over Brunei waters, the sea state is generally slight, at below one metre.
