Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) marked the 10th anniversary of the delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner in a ceremony yesterday, celebrating the major milestone as the first airline in Southeast Asia to operate the aircraft.
“The entry of the Boeing 787 into our fleet not only played a significant role in our rebranding journey a decade ago, but the eco-friendly aircraft also served as a catalyst for our sustainability endevours,” said RB CEO Captain Sabirin bin Haji Abdul Hamid in a speech during the ceremony at the Brunei International Airport. The speech was delivered on his behalf by Acting Chief Operations Officer Haji Badarudin bin Haji Bagol.
