A delegation from the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces is attending the Seoul Defense Dialogue 2023 (SDD 2023) and the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition 2023 (Seoul ADEX 2023) from October 17-22 in Seoul, South Korea.
The delegation is led by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof.
SDD 2023, themed ‘Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity’, aims to promote cooperation for security and peace through dialogue while to build military confidence in the Asia Pacific, including in the Korean Peninsula. The forum is the region’s highest ranking multilateral security dialogue platform hosted by South Korea’s defence ministry.
