A book compiling the history of the Knowledge Convention since its inauguration in 2004 was launched by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Thursday.
Majlis Ilmu: Mercu Tanda Intellektualisme Raja Kita – Suluh Negara was launched by His Majesty during the opening ceremony of the Knowledge Convention 2023.
The book represents His Majesty’s wisdom and efforts to spread knowledge to his subjects through lifelong learning, from matters ranging from food security to mental health. The book highlights the Knowledge Convention as the pinnacle of His Majesty’s intellectualism, vision and foresigh as well as the development of the Knowledge Convention in preserving the intellect of the ummah.
