The Planning Authority recently ordered a residential home turned electronic waste storage to cease operations in Kampong Jangsak, Mukim Kilanas.
The house was filled with industrial and used electronic materials in a disorganised manner, violating Chapter 248, Section 23(2) of the Town and Country Planning Act.
The tenant complied with the authority’s order by discontinuing the activities, cleaning and restoring the original use as a residential home.
