As Brunei Darussalam and Japan celebrate 40 years of friendship in 2024, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam looked forward to continuing work in further enhancing the goodwill and friendship between both countries and people.
In this regard, His Majesty extended an invitation to Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida and spouse Yuko Kishida to Brunei Darussalam for an official visit and wished the prime minister and the government of Japan all the best in hosting the World Expo 2025 in Osaka successfully.
