The Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Library has been upgraded under the ‘Learning Commons’ project, which was planned over five years ago and includes the renovation of the surau and the creation of a seminar room, computer lab and shop space.
Vice-Chancellor of UBD Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle officiated an open to mark the upgrade.
“We would like to showcase the infrastructure of UBD Library in its role as a social organisation supporting education, both for those just beginning as well as those on a life-long learning journey,” said acting head of librarian Haji Muhammad Yussuf bin Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Musa in his welcoming address.
