Pet dogs were vaccinated against rabies during a drive-through event at the Agriculture Station, Kampong Sungai Liang on Sunday.
The drive-through vaccination event, organised by the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood (DAA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs, served as a preventative measure against the recent surge of rabies cases in neighbouring countries and encouraged dog owners to vaccinate their pets, said an official from the DAA, Dr Raihan Zuhairah binti Haji Zulkifli at the drive-through.
