A BND6.25-billion budget for the 2024-2025 financial year was passed unanimously by Legislative Council (LegCo) members at the 20th session of the LegCo meeting on Thursday.
Before the budget was passed, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah elaborated on the 12th National Development Plan (RKN 12).
The minister said the Executive Committee of National Development Plan, chaired by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam passed 305 projects in the RKN 12, costing BND4 billion to be implemented until 2030.
