Over 900 individuals were granted citizenship for Brunei Darussalam during a ceremony at the Bridex Conference Hall on Thursday.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman presented certificates to 959 individuals during the ceremony, officially recognising them as Bruneian citizens. Individuals included those who had taken the Malay language written test, children of Bruneian citizens, including adopted children as well as wives of Bruneian citizens.
Dr Rozia binti Haji Adenan received the certificates on behalf of her two children.
